Dying Breed Racing 23WR
Our First Race Season – 2025/2026
What a journey it’s been.
From the first turn of the wrench to the roar of the track, this season has been nothing short of unforgettable. What started as an idea quickly became a full-throttle commitment—long nights in the workshop, early mornings at the track, and a team driven by passion every step of the way.
We’ve faced challenges, learned fast, and pushed ourselves harder than ever. Every race has been a milestone, every setback a lesson, and every win—big or small—a moment to be proud of.
This season wasn’t just about racing. It was about learning, and building something from the ground up, representing who we are, and proving what we’re capable of.
And this is only the beginning.

THE BEGINNING
At the back, the car’s roots trace to its original owner, Steve Douglas, alongside his son Jimmy - founder of Last of the Dying Breed Car Enthusiasts - laying the foundation for what it has become today.
At the front, from left to right: Myself and Emma of Dying Breed Garage, proud sponsors of the build, alongside Wayne Holland, the driver of 23WR, bringing it to life on the track.

Becoming a saloon driver
Next thing you know, with the support of the original owner and driver we become the next new owners of 23WR.
A change of design for the saloon, change of colours, and a new driver being myself - Mike "Riley"
Followed with the support of some amazing sponsors!
